In the summer of 2007, we produced a promotional video for the Douglas Arizona school system. The goal was to produce a DVD that would be school oriented and attract educators and administrators to the border city to work in the K-12 district.
Shot with the Sony HDCAM F-900, our custom DVD would contain three departments: Departments, Schools, Educational Programs. Because the job was awarded during the last week of classes for the 2007 class, we rushed to Douglas for a shoot so we could have students in the program. We shot on the second to the last day of class and the student welcomed up with open arms.

We returned two weeks later to shoot the core of the program. We visited the admistrative staff and numerous teachers, and then visited every school as well as the admin office. After two long days, we finished at around 6pm and then started the lang drive (3 1/2 hours) to Tempe.

Our post production guru, Adam Benson, created a 3D interface for our DVD and it overwhelmed the Douglas staff. Said Rob Doctor and Javier Baca: "You've far exceeded our wildest dreams on the quality of the production". The interface resembles three student chalkboards with text similar to chalk board writing.
